Vibrato Grill Jazz

This is a perfect/not so hidden Jem.💎 It's definitely a great place to come for a date night or simply just a special night out. Plan in advance and reserve at least a week ahead if you want to ensure good seating. No reservation is needed if it's at the bar. The atmosphere is vibrant, modern, cozy, and relaxing, with a hint of fine dining all at the same time. Service was fast without compromising the quality of our food and drinks. You can come with kids, but I wouldn't recommend it. This is more for date night or a special gathering amongst friends. Not many places have live Jazz music now a days. It's great to have found a place that is still doing it right. 😎 🎷 DEFINITELY ADD THIS TO YOUR BUCKET LIST! 👌👌👌👌

We just had such a great night here for my partner's birthday dinner. They were so efficient at sitting all the tables once they opened at 6pm. The atmosphere is great for a jazz dinner of this nature but it will be due for an updated aesthetic soon. The Lonely Bull cocktail was one of the best mezcal cocktails I've ever had. The Lollipops and Roses gin cocktail was also great...very fruity and refreshing. For starters we got the Parker Rolls immediately per the recommendation of our server and it did not disappoint. We also went for the Steak Tartare and Oysters which were also fantastic. For our our entrees we got the Kansas NY steak which was unexpectedly rough for a medium-rare steak at a venue like this. However the Scallops we also ordered were perfect! For dessert we went with Salted Dark Chocolate cake which was also delicious. It was small but the combination of the salt with the sweetness of the dessert was amazing. The group performing tonight was sooo good. We would definitely return here.

Live jazz and very good food. Pricey, yet worth it. Had the lobster gnocchi. Could have been less chewy, The filet Mingnon was prepared perfectly. Brussels Sprouts and Mac N cheese did not disappoint. No pictures of dessert since it was devoured so quickly. But you really go to Vibrato for the music. We saw Danny Jonokuchi big band and he was excellent!

This was my first time in Cali and it couldn't have been a better experience. First the atmosphere when you walked in was AMAZING. The hostesses were prompt and friendly and even sat us before our reservation time. The balcony area's ambiance was to die for...the acoustics from the live band and the intimate setting really set the tone for our evening. We were asked to accommodate another group and the gratitude and service from the staff and general manager was phenomenal. The food was delicious, the steak was flavorful and tender. The cocktails were very well blended and smooth. This was really a memorable experience and a wonderful way to celebrate us!! Definitely will be going back!!

This place was beautiful. Went for a birthday celebration and Michelle, our server was fabulous. She was friendly and personable and on point with all our needs. The food was delicious and the music was nice though we wished it lasted A little longer. They really move thru the whole thing very fast but still a great experience. Went last year for his birthday. Came back again for his birthday and we had another fabulous time. One thing I wish they would do there is sing a happy birthday to the folks in the audience who come for celebrations but we enjoyed ourselves. Service was impeccable. Food was tasty. I love that we never feel rushed to leave after the performance which was great this past weekend. We will forever be checking this place out.

My husband and I returned here after several years with happy anticipation. We enjoyed Vibrato the previous times we were there. This time we went specifically to see a group perform and to have dinner. We like that we can be in a good restaurant with a nice ambiance and live music. I miss that so much in Los Angeles and I wish there were more places like this that are not so expensive as Vibrato. But, the design of Vibrato is great, uncrowded, good views of the stage everywhere. This time, however, we were disappointed that some items on the menu had changed a lot and there were less things to choose from and not as great a variety as we had hoped. For instance, there was no soup at all that night and in the past they had lobster bisque that was delicious. They also used to serve the best bread, crackers as part of the meal. They don't do that anymore! But now for $9 you can get a small loaf of bread boo. I had shrimp and lobster with mushrooms tagliatelle which was really delicious. My husband had lamb tagine which he enjoyed but he said it was very spicy, peppery, and then I could never eat it. It was also kind of surprising to see feta cheese as part of the dish because it's origin is primarily in a Muslim country, Morocco, and they don't mix milk with meat. But I don't know if they were going for authenticity at Vibrato, or just their version of it. We ordered a red velvet and creme brulee cake dessert but not a fan of it. Did not like it. It was surprising not to see a cheesecake on the list. I ordered regular coffee and it was so strong that I couldn't drink it. So we enjoyed the musicians, they were outstanding. Our server, Thomas, was excellent. Sound level, always under visible check, is perfect. There is complimentary valet parking which is wonderful, but I'm sure they make up for it in the price they're charging for the meal and show. I hope they'll make some changes in that menu and have more of a variety and bring back some soups and other entrees. There are some good starters, but don't expect to find any chicken wings anywhere in this place. Sometimes restaurants try to be so current and experimental with strange combinations or simply too small that it is a turnoff. No doubt we will return to Vibrato.

What a great pre holiday evening! Thank you Vibrato! Our waiter Adrian helped guide us through the choices. The filet was top notch and the lamb was OUTSTANDING! My mouth waters writing this. We loved the fried cauliflower to start. Lonely Bull cocktails were perfect. The music was so festive and the accoutics were excellent. We were sad to see the evening end. We will be back !
